Oh Snow

The horses are a simple, mere 300 miles away.  And we are right in the middle of the "snow storm of the century" as the news is trying to tell us.  I have been in contact with the transport driver and he is confident that he will make it here tonight, but I honestly don't know as the snow is predicted to just get worse over the next day and a half.  I love snow, I do....but why do we have to get the worse storm in 70 years right now?  Welcome ponies to Washington, isn't it balmy?  :)   The interstate two miles up from us just closed due to avalanche threat; I hope Pasquale is able to make it home tonight from work.  Tommorrow is supposed to bring 10 inches of snow, so hopefully everyone will be home and safe when the "real" part of the storm begins tonight.
